Jesse and I stayed in Dallas this year for the holidays. It was our very first Christmas in our house! Last year our home was completely under construction and we were in Colorado. We traveled to Denton, TX on Christmas Eve to spend time with the Webbs–my grandparents, aunt and uncle & cousin. On our way to Denton it began snowing…and kept on snowing all night. It took us a while to get back home, but we woke up to a white Christmas. Maddie loved running around in the snow. We spent Christmas morning at our house. Joe and Stef came to join in on the opening of our stockings. Joe and Angee were not with us, but were enjoying their holiday in New York. We spent the rest of the day at my grandmother’s house in Dallas with the other side of the fam. Our Christmas continued when Joe and Angee returned from NY. We had such a busy, but wonderful holiday. We relaxed and enjoyed our Christmas in our newly-renovated home!
We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday! Jesse and I misssed the family that we could not be with this year.

We gave thanks for our friends, family, jobs and everything God has blessed us with in this life at Josh and Laura’s house this year. Janelle, Aaron, Braden & Abigail joined us from Houston. Jesse and I were afraid that we might be celebrating alone after my battle with shingles, but it improved enought for us to join! Here are the Lyon/Hunt kids….
