Heartbeat: 147 bpm
Weight: 4lbs 13 oz (Beck was weighing 6lbs and 2 weeks ahead of me at this point!!)
He is exactly at 34 weeks right along with me.
New date to make it to….December 31st, or 38 weeks. This is our goal, if we can make it that far.
Praying that my blood pressure stays low on bedrest. We would love to stay out of the hospital and NICU over Christmas:)
My doctor recommended that we start coming to our appointments with our bags in the car. So, you can guess what my daily up and about is all about. I have been making sure all is ready for the little guy to come home. I have also been trying to shop online for all Christmas presents in hopes that I can be prepared for Christmas whether I am home or not.
Beck’s latest quote about Chance..”he needs to stay in there.” This was his answer when I asked if he was ready for C to come out o play with him.
Beck has been so super sweet and gentle with his mommy these days. I am just eating it up!
So, this is our latest news. We visit the specialist again on Monday to check C’s belly measurements since it is still a little bit behind. Then, we go Tuesday am to check in with the doc. More to come next week!
Jesse and I were anxioius to see if this new little guy looks anything like his big brother, so this go aroud we decided to do a 4D sonogram. It was so cool and really made this little guy feel so real. The verdict was that he definitely has a lot of the same featues as Beck, but possibly a different chin. This was a crazy experience. He wasn’t really cooperating the entire time, but we did get some good shots of his face. We just can’t wait to see meet him in person… 10 more weeks!
Little Baby C is 28 weeks. He is measuring 2lbs. 4 oz. (10oz smaller than Beck at this point). Beck loves to kiss my belly and say hi to him! He says, “There’s a baby in mommy’s belly!”
Mommy Update: Still on Blood Pressure meds 2x a day (they also are supposed to be helping with the pains I am getting), we have been on weekly appointments since 22 weeks, we are expecting to be on bedrest in the next few weeks:( I know I will probably enjoy it this go around because I am hurting so bad. But….baby is good and still baking:)
The following pics were before I left for Angee’s shower for Baby Nixon. I got a little B love before:)
Our experience at the pumpkin patch this year was way different from last year. This year B could run around and was a lot more curious. It was just as fun, but we didn’t get as many great pics since he was running around. Beck hasn’t stopped talking about it since we left. He LOVES his little pumpkin that he picked out. Happy Fall!
Another advantage of being a teacher is getting the free fair ticket! This year I also had a leftover studetn ticket so Jesse, Beck and I managed to all get in free:) It was a little awkard walking in preggo with a student ticket, but Jesse doesn’t quite look like a “student.” Beck had already gone to the fair once with Papa, Daddy, Bubba (Josh) and Laura. He LOVED the Ferris wheel and talked about it for a week until he went back. He also got to ride the Dart Rail for the first time. We drove down to the Deep Ellum stop and took the short ride, but he loved it nonetheless. Can’t wait to go next year with both boys!!
This year we decided to celebrate Beck’s party at a place where he could just do his own thing and run around freely. We chose CooCoos in Plano. It is a place filled with huge bounce houses. Beck had gone to another party there and LOVED it. He had lots of little friends there and of course family to watch him jump with joy!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Beck! And…thanks to eveyone that made his day so special!
Beck is 2! I can’t believe how much he has grown up since his last birthday. His birthday fell on a weekday, so he got to take treats to school to celebrate with his friends there. He loved taking treats to share! And…he peepeed on the potty two times for the first time! After school, he got in the car with a Mickey Mouse balloon and was ready to head home to play. Mimi and Pods came over to play and eat pizza. Our original plan was to go out to eat, but we figured Beck would just enjoy playing with all of his new presents. Below are some pictures of his birthday night and some from the lake where he got his new big wheel from Mimi and Pods. This is his lake/Mimi and Pods house trike. The celebration continues this weekend when he has his birthday party. He can’t stop talking about jumping with his friends. Happy 2nd Birthday, Beck Tyler! We love you so much!
We have spent many weekends this summer at the lake being lazy. I actually took pictures this past weekend of B playing in his pjs. This sums up our lake summer (along with some swimming, not pictured this time)….
Beck is going to be a big brother on January 9, 2013! We found out on Jesse’s birthday, July 3, that we had a beating heart in my belly. What a suprise to our families! We revealed the baby’s gender by having Beck open up a box with the color balloons of the sex, blue or pink. We wanted to include Beck in the fun! We all gathered at my parent’s house and had Jesse’s parents on Skype waiting to hear the news. I am pretty sure we shocked the family by not having pink balloons. I am still trying to wrap my head around having all boys in the house, but we have had so much fun with Beck that I can’t wait for the adventures!
Beck’s school has an annual 4th of July parade. This year they did it a little early and the kids were adorable! Beck marched the entire time and didn’t even run to us when we were spotted. He is becoming so independent and loved every minute of he “march.”
